Kathryn's 1st Birthday Party!

I have tears as I type out the title of this post! Can you beleive we are already celebrating our little miracle's first birthday! (Granted we are celebrating a bit early... so that her important day doesn't get lost in the craziness of Christmas) I will save my long sappy post for her actual birthday!

Kathryn's Birthday theme was a WinterONEderland! We even had a dusting of snow for her special day!

Kathryn was the star of the day...and loved being the center of attention. (I wonder where she gets that from ;)) She was in a great mood and loved making everyone laugh.

Loving Auntie Kris!

Well after 10 HOURS of shopping on Black Friday with Kris and Martha, we came back to my house for coffee, and of course to see Kathryn.

Sometimes kids are funny and for whatever reason Kate never wants to go to Krissy...maybe its because she is the only person we have ever trusted to watch Kathryn. So little Miss Smartie Pants associates it with mommy leaving... I don't know but it has been stressful for me since Kris is such an important part of our life. Oh, and that I might like to have a date night with my husband sometime before Kate is 5! Well everytime Kris is over we try little bits and bits well this time SUCCESS!!! She was loving on Auntie Kris! Hugs and cuddles all around. This made Mike and I very happy. (I'm pretty sure it made Krissy's day too)

Ok I guess I can have Patrick now, since Kris is Kathryn's caretaker come that time and I was afraid I would be holding Kathryn while in labor!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a very quite Thanksgiving at our house this year. My dad, and brother and sister came for dinner. Which was delish. Kathryn loved everything her two favories were the mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. Everyone had fun playing with Kathryn, she kept us all laughing! After dinner Mike's brother Danny and our niece came over for pie and to play some board games. We had a fun evening with them.

Baby News!

Well not much going on... No news is good news! This pregnancy is going by super fast. Can't believe I am 32 weeks! Patrick is doing great as am I. No Diabetes, No high blood pressure. I feel FANTASTIC! If it wasn't for a basketball under my shirt and a soccer player inside... I might forget I was pregnant.

However due to my history we have picked an induction date January 19th. My doctor doesn't want me to go past 39 weeks, she says nothing good can come from that. (She keeps expecting me to act like a High Risk pregnancy!!!) Mike doesn't think I will make it to then. He's guessing a week before... if these Braxton Hicks I have been having are any indication he may be right.

Kathryn however has no clue what is going on. She has learned to Kiss my belly which is probably the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life! We need to get some pictures of it. Mike or I will say: "Katie, Give the baby a kiss"... and she goes right for my belly with a big wet kiss!

I am getting very excited to meet the little man... I have finished knitting his hat to wear in the hospital and hope to have the matching sweater done before he arrives.

Today was my mom's birthday. She came over for a birthday dinner. We had one of her favorites Crazy Noodles (YUMMY) Then we had birthday cake. Katie even shared a little bit with Nana. We had a great visit!

Christmas Card Photo Shoot!

Today we went to Kiddie Kandids at Babies R Us to have Kathryn's picture taken for our Christmas cards this year. They came out amazing. (Although you will have to wait until you get our Christmas card to see how adorable they really are.) After that we had dinner at The Texas Roadhouse. Kathryn enjoyed sharing my prime rib and baked potato. She is such a good little eater!

In addition to the professional Christmas photo... we had a photo shoot at home. Kathryn looked adorabale in her Mrs. Clause outfit.

Now I just need to design and make 75 Christmas Cards!!!!

Well I know it is time to post Katie's 11 Month Monkey pictures and I will as soon as I am done editing them. :) When I was looking over the blog I realized in the excitment of Halloween her 10 Month Monkey pictures never got posted.

Baking With Mommy!

Today Kathryn and I did some baking for Thanksgiving. We made M&M Cookies and they were delish! Kate liked playing with the spoon and bowl while Mommy baked. She especially liked the end result. I am looking forward to many years of holiday baking with my little girl!
