A Day at The Beach

Our favorite place to cool off is at the Arlington Res. It is a great little beach 15 mins from our house. There is lots of shade and a great little swimming hole there. Its where I spent my of my summer days as a child. Today we met my mom ( Nanny) there. It was Kate's 1st time there. She was a little unsure when we first went in...but then ended up having a great time.

Kathryn's 1st Visit to Kimballs Farm

We headed to Kimballs Farm for a day of Mini Golf and Ice Cream with Chris. This was Kate's first (of many) visits to Kimballs. (Unless you count all the times we went while she was in my tummy!) We had a fun game of golf and then enjoyed the yummy ice cream. Kate even got to try just a bit of mommy's.

A Day at The Pool

Merrie was spending the day with us. We had lunch at Friendly's and then headed to Papa's for a swim in the pool. It was Kate's 1st time in the pool. She was a little aprehensive at first. She prefered to be in my arms then in her ADORABLE Ladybug float. After being in it awhile, she began to enjoy it. Merrie seemed to enjoy being in the pool with Katie

Annual Chowder Fest

Last minute Mike and I decided to head in town to the Annual Chowder Festival. It was a beautiful day, and seemed like something fun to do. I can rememeber going as a child. Although, Kate didn't get to taste test the chowder (maybe next year) she did have fun people watching!

Happy 4th of July!

Katie, Mike and I had a fantastic 4th of July. We headed up to Sailsbury for dinner at Brown's. It was delicious as always! We then walked the strip. We played in the arcades, and ate lots of candy! We then ended up meeting up with Auntie Corinne, and her friend to watch the fireworks. We had great seats, right under the fireworks. I was worried that Kate would be afraid of the loud booms. She was not! She seemed to really enjoy the beautiful firework display.

To all three of you that read my ramblings... I am sorry I haven't kept up on this! We've been too busy enjoying summer and making memories to actually sit and write about them. Over the next couple days I will do my best to update you on our daily happenings. Oh, and I have LOTS of pictures!!! Stay tuned!!
