A Day at The Pool

July 2 2008

Merrie was spending the day with us. We had lunch at Friendly's and then headed to Papa's for a swim in the pool. It was Kate's 1st time in the pool. She was a little aprehensive at first. She prefered to be in my arms then in her ADORABLE Ladybug float. After being in it awhile, she began to enjoy it. Merrie seemed to enjoy being in the pool with Katie

Annual Chowder Fest

Last minute Mike and I decided to head in town to the Annual Chowder Festival. It was a beautiful day, and seemed like something fun to do. I can rememeber going as a child. Although, Kate didn't get to taste test the chowder (maybe next year) she did have fun people watching!

Happy 4th of July!

Katie, Mike and I had a fantastic 4th of July. We headed up to Sailsbury for dinner at Brown's. It was delicious as always! We then walked the strip. We played in the arcades, and ate lots of candy! We then ended up meeting up with Auntie Corinne, and her friend to watch the fireworks. We had great seats, right under the fireworks. I was worried that Kate would be afraid of the loud booms. She was not! She seemed to really enjoy the beautiful firework display.

To all three of you that read my ramblings... I am sorry I haven't kept up on this! We've been too busy enjoying summer and making memories to actually sit and write about them. Over the next couple days I will do my best to update you on our daily happenings. Oh, and I have LOTS of pictures!!! Stay tuned!!

June 2008 Solid Foods!

Well we started Kate on solids a few weeks ago just a teeny tiny bit of cereal... Today we intoduced Sweet Poatoes!!! She loved them! She is a great eater!

June 2008 At the Lake!

Well it's been HOTTTTTT!!!! HERE! We went to a local lake to get some relief from the heat. Arlington Res...(our favorite place to go) was not open yet. So we had to find another spot. At first Kate was not so sure about the water. Once in though she began to enjoy it. She actually fell asleep while floating in Mike's arms!! Too Cute!

We headed up to North Conway for the weekend! We went to daddy's Aunt & Uncle's Yummy Pizza place The Shannon Door!!! They have the BEST pizza! We were able to introduce you to your great aunt Tess and Great Uncle Tommy! Your Second Cousins Nora & Kathleen and your 3rd cousin (is that such a thing?) May. It was great to see them and spend time with them even though it wasn't very long! Maybe next year you will be old enough and we can take you to Storyland with all the cousins!

5/20/08 Happy 5 Month Birthday!

Can you believe Kate is 5 Months Already!!!! She is Bigger then her monkey!!! We are loving every minute of watching her grow!!!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!! The Murphy's headed down to the Cape to take some pictures by the ocean! While down there we bumped into my firend Ellen's Mom. She invited us back to her Family BBQ. We had a fun time with her and her family. Only thing that was missing was Auntie El.
