Memorial Day Fun

We ended up going to watch The Somerville parade...with the Reis/Chasse Clan!! They back to their house for a BBQ! Always a fun time! They certainly are our chosen family!!! We always have a blast when we get together with them! We will certainly miss Merrie, Leslie and Rick when they move to Holland!

The Children's Museum

The Children's Museum is my all time favorite museum. I loved going as a child and learning and exploring my through it. I couldn't wait to take Kate there. Although she is still a bit young to fully experience all that the Children's museum has to offer...I think she still had a fun time! Looking forward to going back when Kate & Patrick are a bit bigger!

Happy Mother's Day

Today we celebrated my 2nd Mother's day! What a fantastic day it was. Mike spoiled me as usual. My day started with Mike going out early to surprise me with Iced coffee & Flowers...so sweet! Then he brought Kate & Patrick in to me to do presents! I still can't believe that I got a Nikon D40 Digital SLR camera! I have had my eye on one for awhile, it just wasn't in the budget! I am in LOVE!! I can't wait to learn to use it to its full capacity, and I can just imagine all the beautiful pictures I will now have to scrapbook ( Yes, I do still scrapbook)

After lots of family snuggles in bed. We all got dressed and ready and headed to my all time favorite restaraunt...The Dandelion Green for lunch/dinner! I was so surprsied that Mike was able to get us reservations. After a delicious meal...we headed into the Boston Common to ride the Swan boats. It was such a beautiful day.

Mother's day means so much to me. I can remember all the Mother's days before I was blessed with children, trying not to be bitter. It was the worst day of the year for me. Worse then celebrating Valentine's Day without a Valentine. I remember the Mother's day 2007 when I took a home pregnancy test and it was POSITIVE!!! The day I found out I was pregnant with Kathryn.

Happy 1st Birthday Logan!

Today we went to Logan's 1st Birthday BBQ Celebration! It was a beautiful day for a cook out and to celebrate a very special boy. I can't believe how big he is getting! He seemed to enjoy opening all his presents! It looked like his favorite part was the cake! Kathryn had fun cruising all around barefoot in the grass. Patrick of course loved be cuddled by all of the party guests!

Ok, so probably not where I would have preferred to spend my Friday night, but I thought it would be fun to take Kate out for pizza & fun. (My how quickly my life has changed...couldn't be happier ;) ) Anyway Kate enjoyed her pizza then she enjoyed cruising around and riding some of the rides. Thankfully they did away with the ball pit...that thing skived me!
